These are links to present organizations that are working towards amending the wrongs inflicted on indigenous peoples in the US because of boarding schools and colonization. They provide insight as to what can be done as a community to advocate for indigenous rights as well as educating the general public on indigenous oppression. Reclamation of boarding school experiences for American Indians is subject to acquisition of lands originally occupied by indigenous tribes as well as healing the emotional damage that was inflicted throughout generations by oppression and forced assimilation.
